Beach Thursday Pic of the Week – Shipwreck Beach, Zakynthos Island, Greece

Tagged: , , ,

I’m not sure how the ship on the aptly named Shipwreck Beach on Zakynthos Island in Greece ended up abandoned there but the impact on its appeal is undeniable. The rusted remains of the boat, lying amid the white sand beach and just yards away from the clear blue water that transported it to its final resting place, adds to the unique pull of this location. The seclusion of the beach, due to it being surrounded by towering cliffs,...

Drone Racing at a Beach Bar in Greece

While drone videos of beach bars is nothing new, drone racing at beach bars is something I hadn’t come across prior to yesterday. Luckily, my electronic Beach Bar Bums Daily paper turned me on to a neat video of someone racing drones at a beach bar in Greece. The video, published by YouTubers “Rotor Maniacs,” takes place at a beach bar, presumably closed for the winter season, on Lagada Beach, located on Kythira Island in Greece....

I love the colors of this beach bar on Lesbos Island in Greece. If beach bars are anything, they’re colorful and the practice of using bright colors isn’t just confined to the Caribbean. While I love the colors and design on this beach bar, there’s one thing I love above all the others – the sign advertising caipirinhas and mojitos. I already like this beach bar.
