Beach Bar Pic of the Week – Kaibo Beach Bar, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands

Tagged: , , , , ,

I’ve always thought about an escape to the Cayman Islands and one beach bar that has always been at the top of my list to visit is Kaibo Beach Bar and Grand Cayman. Located on a peninsula just south of Rum Point, Kaibo is located far away from the hustle and bustle of the world famous Seven Mile Beach. Don’t let its location away from Seven Mile Beach dissuade you from visiting. Besides offering the beach bar, Kaibo also has a full...

One Minute Over White Bay, Jost Van Dyke, British Virgin Islands

One region that has been on the minds of beach bar bums worldwide is the condition of Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands post-Irma. The restaurant sustained a lot of damage from Irma in 2-17 but has come back...

Beach Bar Pic of the Week – Darkwood Beach Bar, Antigua

I’ve spent two weeklong vacations in Antigua, exploring its beach bars spread out over 365 different beaches. For some reason, I never made it to Darkwood Beach and its eponymously named Darkwood Beach Bar. Having stayed just north of it on Jolly Beach and just south of it on Turner’s Beach, I can’t even offer up a good excuse for not taking a minute or two to stop by. Luckily for the rest of us, beach bar bum Polly Terry made it a...

Beach Bar Pic of the Week – Big Mama Grill, Baby Beach, Aruba

Tagged: , , , , , ,

Ask anyone who calls Aruba home where the best beach on the island is to get away from the hustle and bustle of Palm Beach and most of them will tell you to start heading southeast until you can’t go any further. It’s where the locals go and for travelers visiting the island, the place to go is where you’ll find the locals. In Aruba, that’s Baby Beach. And on an island that’s not exactly known for its beach bars,...
