Beach Thursday Pic of the Week – English and Falmouth Harbours, Antigua

Tagged: , , ,

This image of English and Falmouth Harbours, located on the southern coast of Antigua, is a view I’ve been lucky enough to experience in person on two different occasions. Having vacationed twice on the island, we’ve been able to experience “sunset Sundays” at what might be the ultimate spot to experience the most magical of moments on the laziest of days – Shirley Heights. Presumably the spot that this...

The Best Painkiller Recipe Ever?

Tagged: , ,

I’ve seen a lot of posts claiming to be the real recipe for the Painkiller and while I don’t doubt their veracity or earnestness, there’s just something about the way the author of this article states his/her case that has me convinced he/she might have it right. Anyone who can put together the following sentence is going to grab my attention: “Each deals out plenty of complexity, as if the navy rum matches the...

I’ve found myself in the writer’s situation a lot recently, slowly and carefully...

Find Your Beach Bar

Almost every weekend during the summer, we have typically head to the same place on the lake – the sandbar. Our friends and family congregate there so it’s naturally become a second home for us on the weekends. It’s where we’ve made new friends and memories, played the music too loud and danced like we didn’t have a care. It’s where we’ve discussed the problems of the world and how to solve them, shared drinks and stories with friends...
