Alright, friends—this is finally happening. For spring break this year (first full week of April), I’m heading to Grenada. This trip has been a long time coming, and after years of running into obstacles—expensive flights, COVID delays, and bad timing with hurricanes—it’s nice to see it all finally coming together.
We’ll be staying at the Radisson on Grand Anse Beach, a spot that’s been on my radar for a while. From everything I’ve seen, it looks like the perfect home base—close to the action but still with that laid-back island vibe. And, of course, no trip would be complete without checking out some beach bars. I’ve got a few in mind: Savvy Cabana, the bars near the spice market (Rosie’s, Esther’s, Ash’s, G-Spot, Janice’s, etc.), and the always-popular Umbrella’s. I’m also planning a quick trip over to BBC Beach to check out Rocky’s and La Plywood—where I’ll finally meet Nigel. And let’s not forget Dodgy Dock and Roger’s Beach Bar. Those are a must.

Now, here’s where I could use some advice—Carriacou. Is it worth the trip? And if so, what’s the best way to get there without turning it into an all-day travel headache? If you’ve been, let me know what you think.
