Who said branches can’t be picturesque? This image, taken from a beach in Antigua, portrays a branch/twig propped up among some of the most glorious sand you’ll find anywhere. With the blues that helped make Antigua famous functioning as a picturesque backdrop, it might be all the proof we need that one man’s trash (in this case, Mother Nature) is another’s treasure.
If I recall correctly, the bush that this leaf comes from is everywhere in Antigua. It packs quite the bite, too, in case you didn’t notice the barbed ends of the leaves. It might be a pretty scene but examine it too closely and you could be in for quite the surprise. Consider yourself warned.
