In a notice emailed to its newsletter subscribers, Pusser’s Rum announced the release of their 15 year old rum. Calling it a “True-Aged 15 Year Old Rum,” the release went on to state that the rum is “crafted in small batches” and described it as “perfect for savoring simply or on the rocks.”
The newsletter release included a link to a “What the experts are saying” page that compiled reactions from rum experts, including Ian Burrell. Mr. Burrell stated that “The new Pussers 15 is a tasty drop of Navy Rum. A little dryer and slightly spicier than before.” The page went on to mention reactions from seven other “leading UK based rum and spirits experts.” Comments included on the page mentioned the 15 year old rum’s “great nose, great aroma,” “pure rum” and “much better for the rum connoisseur.”
