If anyone should know the best Caribbean beach bars, it would be a company who specializes in booking trips to the region and sailing its seas. In this case, that would be the Moorings.
The latest group to come up with a “best Caribbean beach bar list,” the writers at the Moorings blog put together a short list. With only eight beach bars mentioned in the article, they kept the group exclusive. Only one country had two beach bars on the list (the Bahamas) with everyone else relegated to one choice each.
You’ll find some favorites scattered among the article – the Soggy Dollar Bar and Nippers are obvious choices – but you’ll also find a few surprises. Once beach bar we’ve featured before on the blog, BeachLimerZ, claims a spot for Antigua, a rising destination choice among my two dozen readers. One beach bar is actually located on a rooftop and you’ll have to head to Vieques to find it.
No beach bars from mainstays such as the US Virgin Islands, Anguilla, Jamaica or St. Kitts make the list but hey, that just means there is plenty of material for another article. After all, there are probably as many beach bars in the Caribbean as there are days in a year so the source material isn’t going anywhere.
How many of these Caribbean beach bars have you been to? Did your favorite make the list? If not, mention it in the comments and show them some love!

I’ve only knocked two of this list, Sunset and the one I’m most proud of, Happy Island. It’s a little trickier to get too. Missed out on Beach LimerZ in Antigua but all the reason to go back.

Thanks for the feedback, Jay! Sounds like a good reason to hit more islands for “research.” 🙂
