I have a lot of good memories from my spring break days spent in Panama City Beach, Florida. Most of them are fuzzy, a combination of my state of mind at the time and the subsequent passing of time in the many years since. Even way back then, it was a popular destination. Situated in Florida’s Panhandle region, it was an easy drive from my home – either a really long one day trip or an easy two day trip. Nowadays, I’d probably go for the easy two day trip. Either way, the Panhandle has been calling my name for a number of years. It might just be about time for a return trip, albeit this time in a slightly less altered state of mind.
