The island of St. John in the US Virgin Islands is known for its many beach bars, namely the group huddled around Cruz Bay. For anyone who has even been to Cruz Bay, however, you’ll know it’s not a swimming-friendly beach, taking a little away from the whole beach bar vibe. After all, if you can’t jump in the water to cool yourself off without the fear of being run over by something with a motor on it, what’s the point?
That’s about to change as Bikinis on the Beach Bar and Grill sets to open. Soon to be located on Honeymoon Beach, the beach bar will feature “the soon-to-be-famous Irmaria drink” and St. John Brewers micro brews among other liquid libations, according to our friends at St. John On-Island Times. For those of you who would appreciate a little sustenance to help soak up the alcohol, St. John On-Island Times reports that the menu will consist of many of the beach staples typically found at your favorite beachfront watering hole.
Oh yeah, that whole swimming thing? Brink your swimsuit because Honeymoon Beach was made for spending a whole lot of time in the water except now, you can do it with a cocktail in hand from St. John’s newest beach bar!
