Ahh, those Bali beach bars. When thinking about beach bars worldwide (which I do a lot of, by the way), the Caribbean region typically comes to mind first. Greece has its fair share along with Mexico and the US. Head over to southeast Asia and you’ll find Thailand and the Philippines representing the beach bar culture.
When it comes to my wishlist of worldwide destinations for a beach bar getaway, there’s one place that is perched at the top – Bali. Just the sound of it evokes a sense of wonderment and escape that can only be experienced firsthand.
That’s why I get pretty darn stoked when I come across new videos of beach bars in Bali. This one, from YouTubers “VA Lifestyle Design” features Hidden Beach Bar, located in Canggu. There’s little info about the beach bar online with videos such as these providing the most info. They do have a Facebook page that’s rarely updated although they did just recently post a new video. Google reviewers love it – always a good sign – giving the beach bar 4.9 out of 5 stars. The last time I checked my math, that’s pretty good.
The shack-like appearance is bound to appeal to Caribbean beach bar fans who prefer the classic laid-back-island-vibe versions over others. For those of you visiting nearby Finns Beach Club and looking for a more quiet vibe, this might be a good alternative. The folks from the aforementioned YouTube video seem to enjoy it and it appears like a great place to spend the day with the family.
