Now that the holidays are over, it’s back to doing what we do best. Or in the case of our Instagram Monday posts, what you do best. Being able to view pics of beach bars and beaches from around the world is a welcome diversion to everything Monday throws at the rest of us confined to desks, chores or the work clock. While we may hate you for being somewhere warmer enjoying a cold cocktail while shading yourself under a palm tree or the shade of a beach bar, we secretly envy you … but we’d never admit that.
From Bonaire to Belize to the BVI with a stop in St. Kitts to break up the alliteration train, the hate and envy are in full swing this week. Oh the conflicted emotions ….
If you’d like your images to be featured on the blog, make sure you’re following @beachbarbums, use the #beachbarbums tag and I’ll try and get you in. If you have a travel blog or personal website, I also try and post links to those whenever possible. I occasionally give away free stuff to some of my favorites so that’s pretty cool, I guess. Plus, the blog gets a BUNCH of views per day and the article is shared to all of my social media sites – you’ll never find a more dedicated group of beach bar lovers anywhere! If you’d like me to write an article featuring just your photos, send me an email at info at beach bar bums dot com and we’ll talk it over.
Don’t forget to follow us on Instagram! It’s the most fun you’ll have staring at your phone. Cheers!
Couldn’t resist sharing one more “sunset” photo from @hatchet_caye_resort as it was truly this beautiful the two nights we were on assignment there. Hung around after the sun was down to enjoy the beautiful evening and capture the last bit of color in the sky. This is the perfect spot to watch the sunset every day on the island, and it doesn’t hurt that the beach bar and restaurant are only steps behind. 🍹🌅🇧🇿
The new @naiaresortspa in Placencia, Belize, is gorgeous from the ground, but it’s even more beautiful to admire from above. 😍 Here you can see some of the individual studio and one/two bedroom units, which have private plunge pools. The main hub has a large pool, the beachside bar and restaurant, as well as the resort’s signature 1981 evening restaurant on the second floor. I love that Naïa left much of the original vegetation, so the beach has lots of trees and privacy as you wander along the beach. 🌴 🏖
Wintry weather getting you down? Here's a peek-a-boo view of Bonaire's Lac Bay, taken from the best seat in the house at the Jibe City Hang Out Bar. ☀ Double-tap if you wish you were there right now. 👍 Then head over to goinformed.net/HangOutBar to read all about this amazing Caribbean beach bar. 😎 #jibecity #hangoutbar #beachbar #beachbarbums #windsurf #windsurfing #bonaire #wesharebonaire #caribbean #caribbeansea #ig_caribbean_sea #ig_caribbean #surroundmewithwater #gocaribbean #unlimitedcaribbean #dutchcaribbean #feelbonaire #bonairelife #diversparadise #islandlife #islands #island #goinformednet #bonairetourism #bonaireisland #goinfomed #itsbetterinbonaire #wheresbonaire #lacbay #sorobon
