I was perusing YouTube the other day looking for Caribbean sunsets to take me away from the onset of winter and stumbled upon the above video from Seven Mile Beach on Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands. Besides the obvious beautiful scenery, I was amazed that Seven Mile Beach could ever be this calm.
The world famous beach, located on the western edge of the island, is packed to the gills with resorts and the tourists who occupy those resorts. Even in the midst of all that, the videographer managed to somehow find a secluded stretch of the beach and film uninterrupted for 14 full minutes. How is that possible? Come to think of it, it is presumably seven miles long so finding a slice of solitude shouldn’t be that difficult. Either way, kudos, brother. Color me impressed.
