With St. Thomas and the rest of the US Virgin Islands continuing to recover from the hurricanes a few months ago, stories of resilience and hope start to overtake those of despair. In that theme of recovery, the Margaritaville Restaurant at the Margaritaville Resort in St. Thomas has announced that it is back open.
With the damage mostly limited to landscaping, the property’s restaurant was able to reopen less than two months after the hurricanes, according to Patrick Mullett, the restaurant’s director of food and beverage. Mr. Mullet went on to state that while the beach still requires a bit of work, the restaurant is operating with air conditioning and accepting credit cards as well.
The Margaritaville Restaurant is currently offering a limited menu and is open 11:30 am until 10:00 pm seven days a week.
