I love cocktails and I love the beach which pretty much explains my obsession with beach bars. What’s not to love? Sipping a delicious cocktail on the beach with palms swaying overhead while you are mesmerized by the beach in front of you is the perfect day in my book. That’s why I love videos like this one. Not only do they transport me to somewhere I’d rather be, they also let me know how I can create my own liquid escape until the actual one becomes a reality.
The Nipple cocktail, served up at Paradise Beach Bar at Coconut Bay Beach Resort and Spa in St.Lucia, is an easy concoction to shake up for yourself. Consisting of rum, sour apple, peach schnapps, lime juice and pineapple juice and a lime and cherry for garnish, it’s the tropical escape you’ve been craving.
I’ve considered staying at Coconut Bay before. A half mile from Hewanorra International Airport, its convenient location on the southeast tip of St. Lucia is hard to beat. With two wings to choose from (an adult side and family side), all ocean view rooms, the convenience of all-inclusive amenities and now the Nipple, I might just be convinced to give up my sunset views and settle for sunrises … if I could ever get up that early.
About Coconut Bay
“Two seemingly different worlds in one idyllic setting. An adult oasis is tucked onto one side of the palm-fringed resort while the other side boasts one of the liveliest family playgrounds in the Caribbean. 250-rooms, six dining options plus beach grill, seven bars, five swimming pools, a full-service oceanfront spa and full service salon, CocoLand Kidz Klub and the island’s largest water park. The resort caters to families, couples and honeymooners alike with the perfect location and endless activities.”
