The island of Roatan, located on the Caribbean side of Honduras, has always been at the top of our travel wish list. With its convenient non-stop flights from O’Hare, affordable accommodations and beach-bar-laden popular resort areas of West Bay and West End serving up the daily sunsets and refreshing cocktails I crave, it’s a wonder we’ve never actually made it there.
That might change soon, however, if the following videos of three of its beach bars have anything to say about it. Featuring short review clips of The Sunken Fish Restaurant and Bar, Iron Shore Bar and Grill and Beacher’s Bar and Grill, the videos serve as a nice teaser for what Roatan has to offer in the way of beach bars beyond its more popular ones such as Sundowners, the Foster’s joints, the beach bar at the Bananarama, the Thirsty Turtle and Bite on the Beach.
