Beach Thursday Pic of the Week – Searching for Solitude in St. Vincent and the Grenadines

Tagged: ,

No images among our “Beach pic of the day” posts separated themselves from the pack this week but the picture below garnered just enough reactions to inch ahead of the crowd. Featuring a boater motoring up to a picturesque palm-studded beach in St Vincent and the Grenadines, the image captures the serenity that many of us appreciate about the Caribbean. With nary a soul in sight that I can see, it represents an escape from the crazy world around us. As we picture ourselves approaching the silent shore, the problems of the outside world disappear as surely as the waves behind the boat and we come to the conclusion that sometimes it is about the simple things.
