Maldives … blah blah blah … beautify beaches … blah blah blah … most liked image. Trying to come up with new ways to describe the beaches that adorn the islands of the Maldives becomes background noise after a while, especially coming from an unoriginal hack such as myself. This image is unique, however, in its ability to pull you into the picturesque scene. I find myself gazing into the pool-like blue water, my thoughts and worries washed away with every virtual wave. It’s a palm tree, a too-perfect-for-words beach and a palapa offering an escape from the never ending sun beams. There might be somewhere else more desirable depending on your leanings but I’ll take this scene any day.
