Anguilla’s Moonsplash 2017 Details

Tagged: , , ,

The dates for Moonsplash 2017 in Anguilla have been announced with the annual reggae music festival tentatively set to take place March 10-12 according to the site anguilla-beaches.com. The date also coincides with the March full moon, hence the festival’s name, so the information from Nori and her crew should be considered as accurate as you can get at this date.

The promotion team around Moonsplash is notorious for confirming the dates of the annual festival as late in the calendar as they can so the fact that no official announcement has been made isn’t surprising. You also shouldn’t hold your breath if you’re keeping an eye out for the artist lineup before booking tickets. If you’re coming from outside of the Caribbean, you’ll most likely have to book travel plans before you read or hear any mention of the artists that will be appearing at the Dune Preserve that weekend.

As in years past, I’ll update this article as ticket prices, dates, artists and other information is officially announced. Until then, make any travel plans at your own risk as this article is provided for informational purposes only.

UPDATE

Bankie’s team has released further details related to Moonsplash 2017. Included is confirmation of the dates, this year’s lineup for each day and a drop in ticket prices. Please click on the link below for the official release.

To announce the start of the festival, early March, would you kindly pass on my email address to a marketing person.(Nori & her crew )?

    Thank you for your kindness

  2. Can someone please keep me advised of when tickets go on sale and how to grab a few for all 3 days. Im planning on making a trip from Boston specifically to go to Moonsplash as it is on my bucketlist and has been for years. I simply love Anguilla and the people and have never had the opportunity, always a conflict….this year nothing will keep me away.

  3. Tom:

I am coming from Boston to Anguilla in the hopes of making a dream of mine (attending moonsplah) come true. I have already booked flights and hotels for the dates as indicated. I would like to know how to secure tickets as early as possible. I have tried the facebook page but there has been no announcement as to how and when tickets commence.

  5. We have been going to Anguilla for the past 10 plus years, Moon Splash on and off. Never pre bought tickets (only once for J. Buffett, that was a sell out). We buy our tics at the venue on our way in. Most often general admission a few times VIP. The show can be a hit or miss, we have seen some really great ones and some, well, not so great. The Sunday beach party is a very good time. Just (as with the whole island) take the announced starting times to seriously. Se ya there!!!

    • All great points, Chris! For me, the Sunday beach party has been the best part of the weekend. Cheers!

  6. Hi –
Are there events on the first night listed, March 9 (Thursday)? What time does moonsplash usually kick off?

    • No events listed for Thursday night yet. I’ve seen a start time of 9 listed online but everything moves at island time so it’s hard to pinpoint it.
