Food & Wine just released a list of their top 10 Caribbean beach bars and if I’m counting right, they actually mention 11. I guess when you’re Laura Begley Bloom, you can do what you want. Plus, “Top 10” has a better ring to it than “Top 11.”
Bankie Banx’s Dune Preserve, Anguilla
Included among the list are two from one of my favorite islands, Anguilla, and luckily for me I’ve been to both. Other countries represented on the list include Barabados (Juju’s which you can read about here), Grand Cayman, the Dominican Republic and Mexico. Not on the list – the US Virgin Islands, the British Virgin Islands, St. Kitts or St. Martin/Maarten.
