The beaches of the Dominican Republic have been featured in this column before, not surprising as the number of visitors to this Caribbean island dwarf many of the other destinations typically featured on my Facebook page. It was no surprise, then, that this image was the most liked from my daily “beach pic of the day” posts. Although I’m not sure where this photo was taken, my guess is most of us wouldn’t mind taking a walk off this pier to the beach and finding out for ourselves.
