During our week on St. Thomas, I was able to share many of my social media posts not just to my own Instagram profile but Emerald Beach Resort’s as well. While I’ll be sharing those posts in upcoming weeks, today is a day to try and get caught up with the other #beachbarbums tagged photos on Instagram.
Some of the highlights include one of the coolest beach bar signs you’ll come across, island girlfriends, an update from Ambergris Caye post Hurricane Earl and a beach bar in Cyprus, an island not covered enough in this weekly column. And of course, the Soggy Dollar.
If you’d like your images to be featured on the blog, use the #beachbarbums tag and I’ll try and get you in. If you have a travel blog or personal website, I also try and post links to those whenever possible. I occasionally give away free stuff to some of my favorites so that’s pretty cool, I guess. Plus, the blog gets a BUNCH of views per day and the article is shared to all of my social media sites – you’ll never find a more dedicated group of beach bar lovers anywhere! If you’d like me to write an article featuring just your photos, send me an email at info at beach bar bums dot com and we’ll talk it over.
Don’t forget to follow us on Instagram! It’s the most fun you’ll have staring at your phone. Cheers!

After we board our boat in Great Harbour, we can cruise around the point and over to gorgeous White Bay. We can drop anchor right in front of Soggy Dollar beachbar. Perfectly named due to the soggy dollars you get after wading ashore. After that exertion, we can spend our soggy dollars on their famous Painkiller rum drink. Sound good?
