Margaritaville Grand Cayman Beach Resort Unveils First Rendering and Property Details

Grand Cayman, CYM – June 7, 2016 – The highly anticipated Margaritaville Grand Cayman Beach Resort, set on the idyllic Seven Mile Beach, today revealed the property’s first renderings and announced an array of new details. The 285-room beachfront property will be the perfect Caribbean complement to Margaritaville’s rapidly expanding resort division.

Margaritaville Grand Cayman Beach Resort is located in the heart of Grand Cayman, just minutes from the island’s top attractions including snorkeling, diving, shopping and golf. The property will be inspired by the lyrics and lifestyle of Jimmy Buffett and convey warm, authentic Caymanian hospitality in keeping with the island’s billing as the “World’s Friendliest Country.” It was announced today that the resort is expected to open its doors by the end of 2016.

As shown in several new renderings, available online at www.margaritavillegrandcayman.com, Margaritaville Grand Cayman Beach Resort will be consistent with Margaritaville’s ‘coastal-luxe’ design, serving as the perfect place for anyone looking to escape to paradise and chill. An open-air lobby will welcome guests with a soothing beach color scheme, comfortable lounge seating and a License to Chill bar (rendering below).

When it opens, Margaritaville Grand Cayman Beach Resort will be a welcome addition to the island’s emerging dining scene. In addition to the License to Chill lobby bar, the beachfront resort will boast multiple other restaurant and bar venues, including a Margaritaville Coffee Shop, a three meal-a-day Banana Wind Café featuring panoramic ocean views, a swim–up bar at the main pool, and a charcuterie. The property’s signature restaurant, YARA, which means “place” for the Caribbean’s Indigenous Taino people, will be a dining destination for guests and locals alike.

Additional details about the on-site amenities, services and facilities at Margaritaville Grand Cayman Beach Resort are expected to be announced in the coming months. This will include plans for the resort’s 285 guestrooms; dining venue and function space renderings and floor plans; details on the resort’s two-pool layout including a tranquility pool and activity pool, as well as information on a gym, spa/salon and what will fill 1,500 square feet of retail space.
