This week’s virtual beach bar crawl around the world via Instagram features pics of beverages in Belize, one of my koozies doing its thing on the beaches of Anguilla and the Baths of Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. Also making an appearance is a DJ with the best view for a gig (can’t believe he’s getting paid to play music with that view!), an image of gray skies over Anguilla that actually makes you wish for gray skies and one of my favorite images of the Beach Bar in St. John. Taken from inside the beach bar by Instagram user @noellenotnoelle, a longtime contributor to the blog, the image of the sunset over Cruz Bay perfectly illustrates everything I love about beach bars during that magical hour when the day bids us “goodbye” and the island switches into evening mode. She couldn’t have exposed it any better and it takes me away to the place I want to be every time I see it.
