It’s the first Monday of 2016 so what does that mean? Besides the fact that it’s the first work day in a while for a lot of people (yuck!), it’s the first Instagram Monday post of the new year! With lake effect storm bands of white snow turning my lazy morning commute into a sketchy one, thoughts of white sand escapes kept me calm through the wintry chaos. I guess you can say that’s what these Instagram Monday posts do for me as well, keeping me focused while I try to meander my way through the suckiest day of the week.
This week’s posts are full of fireplace-warmth goodness, thanks to a couple beach bar bums roaming around Anguilla, a Winter Warmer brew that hopefully accomplishes what its name entails, a check-in with Beachbum Berry and his tiki haven, hitting the levees of the Mississippi and some squid lips in Melbourne, courtesy of our favorite Florida beach bar blogger. It’s a mishmash of “wish you were here” goodness and a welcome kick off to the new year.

If you have a travel blog or personal website, I also try and post links to those whenever possible. I occasionally give away free stuff to some of my favorites so that’s pretty cool, I guess.
