It’s Monday again and there’s no getting over that fact. However, these “beachbarbums” tagged photos from Instagram might make your day a little brighter. Or they might just piss you off because you aren’t the one taking the pictures. Either way, they’re proof that people are having fun at bars, beach bars and beaches from Grenada (@jokost checks in at La Plywood Beach Bar) to Cancun (@celestedickson checks in from Cancun) to Key West (@trace2hts checks in from the smallest bar) to the rest of Florida (@beachesbarsandbungalows checks in from the intracoastal and various points – you can read about her report on the “Alcatraz” bar where it’s perfectly acceptable behavior to monkey around here) and whether we like them for it or not, they inspire us to travel and discover or revisit cool new places where the wind is warm, the drinks are cold and there’s probably a kick ass soundtrack being played in the background.
If you’d like your images to be featured on the blog, use the #beachbarbums tag and I’ll try and get you in. If you have a travel blog or personal website, I also try and post links to those whenever possible. I occasionally give away free stuff to some of my favorites so that’s pretty cool, I guess. Plus, the blog gets around 600 views a day and the article is shared to all of my social media sites – you’ll never find a more dedicated group of beach bar lovers anywhere! If you’d like me to write an article featuring just your photos, send me an email at info at beach bar bums dot com and we’ll talk it over. Cheers!
