When it comes to beach bars, Neptune’s Treasure, a resort located on Anegada in the British Virgin Islands, has a treasure of its own that not enough people know about. Maybe that’s the way their longtime customers would prefer to keep it.
For beach bar purists (yes, they exist), the thought of a resort owning a beach bar and doing it right is blasphemy. However, when you’re a small family owned resort on Anegada in the British Virgin Islands and the beach bar is front and center, even the most high nosed beach bar enthusiasts would have a hard time turning their nose up at you.
Situated just west of the ferry dock and right past the Wonky Dog on the southwest corner of the island, the owners of Neptune’s Treasure, Mark and Pam Soares, could have easily plopped down some more bungalows near the beach but instead, the beach bar mans that spot, keeping an eye on some of the clearest blue water you’ll ever set your eyes on.
