One of my favorite beach bars on St. Kitts is Reggae Beach Bar, located on the southeast peninsula of the island on Cockleshell Beach. When we visited St. Kitts a couple years ago, there were only a handful of beach bars on Cockleshell and while their numbers were few, the quality of the beach bars more than made up for the smaller amount of choices.
While newer beach bars have come to Cockleshell, Reggae Beach Bar, much like Mr. X’s Shiggidy Shack over on the “Strip,” is still the main reason most people come to this beach. There may be fancier digs at Spice Mill or more iconic owners at Lion’s Beach Bar, Reggae Beach Bar is the real star of this stretch of beach and will be for the foreseeable future.
Until we can get back there and rummage through all of the merchandise they have for sale while holding on to our quickly melting rum punch, videos like this one will have to hold us over and remind us of what’s waiting at the southeast end of St. Kitts.

Spent a few hours on this place last November. The server said between the lines that they also served lobster from the bbq. Well, it was the best lobster lunch I had since ages. Nice atmosphere and highly recommend to go. Not that far from the cruise terminal and any taxi can drop you there.
