Little Big Town has released the video for “Pain Killer,” which was filmed, appropriately enough, at the birth of the famous cocktail, the Soggy Dollar Bar on Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands. Cleverly managing to take the name of a famous cocktail and turning it into an ode to an actual human being as their real life “pain killer,” the video also showcases everything we love about beach bars, mainly rum (courtesy of Shellback), the beach and good times with good people.
The “Pain Killer” video isn’t available on YouTube or Vimeo – you have to go to Little Big Town’s CMT page to view it. The ads are annoying as ever but the wait is worth it. For those times when you can’t get away to the beaches of Jost Van Dyke, this video is a welcome interlude.
