Instagram Monday – Pet Friendly Beaches and a Bear From Tokyo Lounging on the Beach

Tagged: , , , , ,

From Bodrum to Belize to Barbados to the beaches of Florida, this week’s virtual beach bar extravaganza features travel inspiration consisting of a lot of rum, beer, pet friendly beaches in Florida where you can get your drink on and let Fido run loose and a Disney bear all the way from Tokyo chilling out on the beaches of Ambegris Caye. Some of our favorite bloggers are featured in this week’s post, including Instagram user @erindesantiago from ourtastytravels.com (thanks for all the tags, Erin!) and @beachesbarsandbungalows sharing the information on pet friendly Florida beaches.

If you’d like your images to be featured on the blog, use the #beachbarbums tag and I’ll comment on the image you tagged to let you know it’s been featured. If you have a travel blog or personal website, I also try and post links to those whenever possible. I occasionally give away free stuff to some of my favorites so that’s pretty cool, I guess. Plus, the blog gets almost 700 views a day and the article is shared to all of my social media sites – you’ll never find a more dedicated group of beach bar lovers anywhere! If you’d like me to write an article featuring just your photos, send me an email at info at beach bar bums dot com and we’ll talk it over. Cheers!

I'm not the only one who enjoys relaxing in Belize on the weekends. Duffy the Disney Bear makes the most of the views and great weather too. 🐻This weekend @instagram is hosting #WHPforeveryoung hashtag project – the theme is forever young. A lot of people know I travel with my Disney Bears, but not necessarily the story behind them. I post most of my Disney pics on @disneyglobetrotter IG account so I barely share details here. Duffy comes from Tokyo Disney, where he is an insanely popular character at Tokyo DisneySea – even landing himself a spot on the side of Japan Airlines planes this year. Duffy's become much like my travel gnome, visiting probably 60 or so countries already with me. I have photos of him at the Pyramids in Egypt, the Canals of Venice, at temples in Taiwan, Castles in France, and much more. I grew up about 30 minutes from Disneyland in CA, and have been a devoted Disney fan my entire life. I have Disney tattoos, and my entire house back in the US was filled with Disney art and memorabilia. Now that I'm grown, I keep that childhood spirit alive by visiting all the Disney Parks worldwide regularly – this year alone I've been to Tokyo 🇯🇵 and Hong Kong Disney 2x each and Disneyland Paris 🇫🇷. Before the year is over, I'll be at Disneyland in CA, and back at Hong Kong and Tokyo once more each. I imagine I'll be 70 and traveling the world to the Disney Parks if I'm physically able. I still remember growing up and telling my mom I would go to Tokyo Disney as soon as I was an adult. It took me longer than expected, but it was worth it, and I've been able to now experience it with my Mom as well. In the last 1.5 years, she's been to Hong Kong and Tokyo Disney several times each – in her 60's! Memories I will cherish forever. ❤️
