Ahh, Boston. Are you ready for me yet? While visits to Boston aren’t in the plans until next summer, finding the best beach bars in the area has already started. Worcester.com got into the act, offering their sage advice when it comes to the best beach bars in New England. While I’ll probably never make it to all of the beach bars on the list, it’s a handy guide to have it you live in the region and want to find somewhere to sink your toes into the sand while sipping on a cold one.
Included on the list are McGuirk’s where the signature drink is the Shark Attack, “a huge, goblet of a drink, garnished with a gummy shark.” The Coast Guard House and Pancho O’Malley’s in Naragansett make the list as well as the Beachcomber out on the Cape (would any best of beach bar list be complete without the ‘Comah?). The state of Maine gets into the act as well with Stone’s Throw making an appearance, described by the author as “the perfect, peaceful end to a beach escape.”
