$125,000 Price Drop For Antigua Beach Bar

When a beach bar for sale has lowered its asking price over 30%, it grabs your attention. I originally posted about Salty Dogs Pub in Antigua being for sale two years ago and as of today, it’s back on the market. Or at least its listing is back as it was removed at one time. Either way, instead of paying $395,000 for it, you can now grab it for $270,000. While it’s not located on the beach, its location in English Harbour offers unparalleled waterfront views of the surrounding harbor, hills and boat traffic. And as we’ve figured out by now, a beach bar doesn’t have to be on the beach to have that beach bar vibe. $125,000 off and over two years on the market? Sounds like they might take any reasonable offer at this point.

From the listing site:

“Sea-Front restaurant for sale with large open seating area, beautiful view and accessible by boat w/ dinghies or tenders. Price: 270,000usd, 5yr+5yr lease renewable, 3,000usd rent per month. Sold as “Turn Key Operation”: all furniture, equipment and liquor license included; ready to start business.

Location: Antigua Slipway, English Harbor; English Harbor is the yachting hub of the Caribbean, home of Antigua Sailing Week, Super-Yacht Show, RORC 600, and the Classic Yacht Regatta, to name a few. Average year-long temperature, 25/26C.

This restaurant is adjacent to former “Catherine’s Cafe” (currently for sale).

Holds approximately 70 covers over 18 tables with an additional “open bar” for 6-8 bar stools. Canvassed, outdoor dock-area is 150/160 sq meters (1700 sq ft) and indoor area is 60 sq meters (646 sq ft). A complete list of all furniture and equipment can be attached on eventual interest.”

The listing for this beach bar no longer works so we are assuming it has sold or has been taken off the market.
