This week’s beach bar photos feature an aerial view of an island that we almost went to last year, a cool boat bar in Florida and a beach bar that is familiar to all of us on an island that we did visit last year. While my long awaited trip to St. Pete Beach and its myriad of beach bars may just be six weeks away, that also means the end of summer is quickly approaching when it seems like it just started. At least we’ll always have pictures of beach bars like these to remind us of what we’re missing when the weather starts to cool off as quickly as the leaves start tumbling to the ground.
There are a few fellow bloggers and/or photographers featured in this week’s article so I want to take a moment to give them a shout out and encourage you to visit their sites. The view of the lake was taken by @thebelgianista and you can view more of her work on her Instagram account. The photo of the Soggy Dollar Bar was taken by @beshannonphotos and you can view more of Brian’s work on his website (One of my favorite shots of the Soggy Dollar – I have no idea how he doesn’t have more followers). @erindesantiago took the aerial image of Ambergris Caye and you can view her blog at ourtastytravels.com. And last but not least, the Capt. Hiram’s pics were taken by @beachesbarsandbungalows, our newest favorite Florida beach bar blogger at beachesbarsandbungalows.com.
If you’d like your images to be featured on the blog, use the #beachbarbums tag and I’ll comment on the image you tagged to let you know it’s been featured. I occasionally give away free stuff to some of my favorites so that’s pretty cool, I guess. Plus, the blog gets almost 700 views a day and the article is shared to all of my social media sites – you’ll never find a more dedicated group of beach bar lovers anywhere! If you’d like me to write an article featuring just your photos, send me an email at info at beach bar bums dot com and we’ll talk it over. Cheers!
