Beach Bar For Sale: The Tourist Trap, St. John, US Virgin Islands

Tagged: , , , , , ,

If finding a beach bar for sale has been a dream of yours but you didn’t want to pay the beachfront premium price, we may have just the answer. While the Tourist Trap in St. John isn’t normally considered a beach bar, its lack of beachfront location is more than made up for by its view and beach bar ambiance, offering more of the laid back island vibe we all love than many other so called “beach bars” could ever dream of. Listed for sale with an asking price of $250,000, this St. John bar could be the latest option in your plan to escape from it all. And the merchandising opportunities – don’t even get me started.

    • The Tourist Trap is a great place…not really a “beach bar” since it isn’t on a beach, but there is a nice water view from part of their property. The owners are awesome people and are easily a big part of why people keep going back to the place. The location is a little bit out of the way, at least for the major traffic/tourist flow on St. John, but if you could negotiate the house along with the business, you could work in your own back yard…and still be only minutes from many awesome beaches!
