First Person POV Video With a GoPro At A Bermuda Beach Bar

You don’t stumble across beach bars in Bermuda that often so when one is brought to my attention, I’m going to jump at the chance to tell everyone about it. In this case, the beach bar is a tiny beach bar at Achilles Bay and when I say tiny, I mean you and all your rowdy friends aren’t coming over tonight and hanging out. Maybe just a few of them but not all of them.

To access the beach bar, you either have to arrive by boat or descend a set of stairs behind the Beach House, a bar and restaurant located at the top of the cliff the beach backs up to. The tiny size of the beach bar is only matched by the size of the beach – it can only be described as tiny, too, which makes the beach at Achilles Bay and its lone beach bar the perfect partners.

Luckily for those of us not blessed enough to be able to visit this Bermuda beach bar anytime soon, we have the ingenuity of Summertime Ken and his GoPro camera. Ken decided to strap his GoPro to his head, descend the steps to Achilles Bay beach and give us a first person view of what it’s like to chill out at this little beach bar. If this doesn’t make you fall in love with beach bars, I’m not sure what will. And yeah, I’m definitely getting a GoPro before our upcoming Caribbean trip. It may result in a hellacious tan line but it’ll be worth it.
