I’m a big fan of champagne, especially when I can drink it. The Air Mail cocktail, featuring Damoiseau V.S.O.P. Rhum Vieux Agricole, manages to integrate an ounce of Brut champagne into its recipe. Since the drink is topped with the chilled champagne, don’t be late for this flight – it may take off early.
Air Mail Recipe
2 oz. Damoiseau V.S.O.P. Rhum Vieux Agricole
1 oz. Sirop de Canne
3/4 oz. fresh lime juice
1 oz. chilled Brut Champagne
Shake V.S.O.P. Rhum, lime juice and Sirop de Canne and strain into an ice filled Collins glass. Top off with chilled Champagne.
Fasten your seat belt, make sure your seat backs and tray tables are in their full upright position and prepare for gate departure.
Thank you for flying with Beach Bar Bums Airlines.
About Damoiseau V.S.O.P. – DAMOISEAU V.S.O.P. is produced with the greatest respect to the French Caribbean time-honored traditions of Rhum Agricole. It begins with natural rhum distilled from pure aromatic free-run sugarcane juice and aged a minimum of 4 years in re-charred Bourbon casks, which gives this remarkable rum its radiant mahogany color and long smooth finish.
