There isn’t anything I can say that should determine whether or not you go to Cow Wreck Beach Bar on Anegada in the British Virgin Islands. While it is a little hard to get to, the chance to enjoy some sundowners, conch fritters and lobster should make the trek well worth it. Don’t want to go home after dinner? You don’t have to – the beach bar is part of the Cow Wreck Beach Resort.
Located on the northwest side of Anegada on yes, you guessed it, Cow Wreck beach, Cow Wreck Beach Bar has been featured on my Facebook page many times in the past. Describing itself as “a fine lady with changing moods,” the beach bar’s specialty drinks are the Wreck Punch and its famous Cow Killer. The beach bar and grill opens at 9 am daily with dinner reservations starting at 6. Closing time is when the last customer departs.
