I’m not posting my usual “Instagram Monday” article today because I wanted to take the opportunity to share some news with my WordPress homies that I’ve grown so fond of. In the next couple weeks, this blog will move from being hosted by WordPress to being self-hosted. It’s not anything against WordPress or the community I’ve become a part of. Rather, it gives me control over the blog I didn’t have before and will allow me to take it to the next level. I personally don’t know what goes on behind the scenes to make this happen – I’m relying on my hometown experts at PayProMedia to figure that out. What I do know is that my blog posts will no longer show up in the WordPress reader. I’ll still have my WordPress account so I believe I’ll still be able to comment on posts and click on the ever present “star” to like all of the amazing articles and photography I’m sure to come across. You’ll just have to do a little digging to get to my articles in the future – which I sincerely hope you do.
I’ll be sharing more information over the coming days including where to find me and how to get in touch as well as posting my normal “get me to somewhere warmer” articles. In the end, it’s not really “good bye” but rather an “I’m moving – I really hope you keep in touch” message that I’ll be trotting out as much as I can. Until then, here is a picture of me and my favorite girl from last summer, when home was a lot warmer than it is now!
