Instagram Monday – #beachbar Pics of the Week

Tagged: , , ,

My favorite #beachbar pics on Instagram (and ones that should have had that tag) from the last week featuring beach bars from Guam, Fiji, Curacao, Jamaica, Thailand and Capri among many other places.

  1. What do you think, do you want to hit the fun and crowded Ricks in Jamaica or the those quiet 4 empty white chairs at the Papagayo in Curacao? I am leaning towards those empty chairs where I can have a good conversation, see the unspoiled Caribbean and have the bartenders full attention. What do you think?

    PS I love Curacao!

    • Most definitely the four empty chairs. Like you, I prefer the conversation. Everyone has a story to tell on the road.

I’ve never been to Curacao. I’ve been close (Aruba) and I even have the resort picked out already – Lion’s Dive and Beach Resort. Hardest part is finding good flights that arrive and depart at decent times.

      • I have been to the Lion’s Dive Resort on Curacao. its a beautiful resort, beautiful location and maybe the best true beach bar on the island, Hemmingways. We spent Valentines night there one year, with mojitos and Polar Beer and our heels in the surf. ~ Sadly I don’t have any pictures to send you, except one on the edge of the water.

        • Thanks for the info! I’m glad to hear you liked it. Hemingway’s, of course, is one of the main reasons I want to stay there. How was the beach?

          • The beach was nice, not crowded, and there is a man made reef right in front of the resort for some great snorkeling. Beside the resort is the nice Curacao Aquarium and you have a dive company on site

          • Thank you! Now I just need to figure out how to squeeze it into my travel plans!
