MooMba Beach Bar and Restaurant on Palm Beach in Aruba isn’t your quintessential beach bar if your definition of a quintessential beach bar is a shack where wooden planks cover everything and stickers and messages written with a black Sharpie cover the planks. MooMba Beach Bar also isn’t the place to go if you’re looking for a singer/songwriter type strumming an acoustic guitar to help ease you through sunset into the evening hours. What MooMba Beach Bar and Restaurant does offer is lively music to dance the night away, delicious and varied meals by the water’s edge featuring scallops, fresh fish, burgers, steaks, carpaccio and fajitas among other dishes, cold Balashi beer, the Caribbean Pirate (a drink for those of us who suffer from the early morning sickness known as hangovers), friendly and courteous customer service and a prime spot for viewing the spectacular Aruba sunsets. Did I mention that it is located on the world famous Palm Beach?
MooMba Beach Bar may not be the classic beach bar you had in mind but after a few Caribbean Pirates, it just might change your mind.
