One of my favorite 80s bands is back! Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, aka OMD, just released the third single from their English Electric album. Titled “Night Cafe,” it’s typical electronic pop that you would expect from one of the original purveyors of the genre. The video, on the other hand, is far from typical. I could try and explain it to you but you just have to watch it.
I think it’s perfect for those nights when the beach bar has just announced last call and the lights from the sky are reflected perfectly on the calm water. What do you think?
