Beach Bars For Sale – Beachin’ Beach Bar, Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos

Tagged: , , , ,

Have you ever wanted to “check out,” leave the grind behind and move to the Caribbean where the weather is always nice (except for those pesky hurricanes), the pace is slow and the people say “good morning” and “good evening” with a smile and mean it? If so, have you ever thought about what you would do to keep busy? After all, paradise is nice but sitting around on the beach all day working on your tan could start to wear on you (and your skin) after a while. Luckily for you, I have the answer and it can be found in the form of a beach bar on Grand Turk island in Turks and Caicos.

Bruce Inskeep, my beach bar co-conspirator, all around great guy and beachbars.co proprietor, recently went on vacation to Turks and Caicos. While there, he took a day trip to Grand Turk to do some beach bar “research.” While beach bar crawling around the island, he was informed that Beachin’ Beach Bar was for sale. Here is Bruce’s description of the island and beach bar:

“Grand Turk is 7.5 miles long and 1.5 miles wide. Everyone knows everyone. Beachin’ is located in a very historical part of town. People ride bikes or rent golf carts to get around and I was very impressed by the overall look of the island.

Tourism and Cruise Ship business are the main sources of revenue. Cruise Ships come in twice a week. Sometimes two ships dock at the same time which doubles the population of the entire island! Margaritaville, Crew Bar, Jack’s Shack and some other smaller beach bars are located right by the cruise ship port. They get the lion’s share of the foot traffic coming off the boat(s).

Beachin’ is about 4 miles away from the port. My guess is you would have to provide some transportation to and from the bar to get people to come.

Beachin’ has some undeveloped land that Herbert owns. He thought about adding a pool or expanding the Bar, but he never got to it. The beach bar itself sits on an incredible stretch of beach. The pics don’t do it justice.

I think with a little marketing, some investment cash and some patience, Beachin’ could create its niche on Grand Turk.”

Does the opportunity to own a beach bar in Turks and Caicos sound interesting to you? If so, you can email Bruce at info@beachbars.co for more information including contact info for the beach bar and asking price.
