Chat ‘N’ Chill Beach Bar – Bahamas Regatta

Chat 'N' Chill Beach Bar Regatta in the Bahamas

Looking for ways to bring business to your beach bar? Help organize a regatta, be involved in one or make sure you’re in the right place at the right time. Regattas can be a boon (thirsty sailors, anyone?) as witnessed by the number of boats sitting in the water off of Chat ‘N’ Chill beach bar in Stocking Island, Great Exuma, Bahamas during National Family Island Regatta. “Since 1954, this annual event of traditional Bahamian sloop sailing takes place in George Town’s Elizabeth Harbour during the last full week of April each year. It is the oldest and largest wooden boat racing in The Bahamas and attracts the best sailors from all of the islands to compete to be the best in their class.”

Chat ‘N’ Chill beach bar was opened in 1988 by Kevin D. Bowe (“KB”), who still owns and operates it. KB describes his beach bar as follows: “We’re not just food, drinks and a beach, Chat ‘N’ Chill™ is an authentic ‘out island’ experience that we are committed to being memorable; come see for yourself how we make your life ‘Better in The Bahamas’”. The restaurant is ranked #2 on Trip Advisor out of 34 restaurants on Great Exuma.
