We’ll be heading to Ft. Lauderdale at the end of the summer and this one will be on my list of bars to visit. Pirate Republic Bar on the Las Olas Riverwalk in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. While the fact that this bar is not on the beach may disqualify it in some people’s opinions from being a true “beach bar,” I wold have to disagree. I’ve never subscribed to the notion that a beach bar had to be on the beach. If the atmosphere screams “beach bar,” that’s good enough for me.
