Seaweed Beach Bar. Walking down to Lion Rock Beach Bar from Reggae Beach Bar on Cockleshell Beach in St. Kitts, we came across this little starter of an establishment. I don’t know if they actually sell spirits from this spot on the seashore but I would have purchased a Seaweed Splash just for the novelty of it. Hey, Mr. X from the Shiggidy Shack got his start selling beers from a cooler and now look at him. You’ve got to start somewhere!
Update: According to the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, this beach bar is owned and/or operated by the St. Kitts Water Safaris. To quote their website: “St. Kitts Water Safaris, located at Cockleshell Beach, on the South-East Peninsula, endeavors to be the #1 water sports in St. Kitts. Our customer service comes with warm smiles and loving spirits as our staff is well trained and highly professional. Here you can be soothed by the rustling of coconut leaves while enjoying the panoramic view of Nevis and its peak. During your stay cold drinks and light snacks are available at our very own Seaweed Beach Bar.
