When beach bars that are for sale end up on the market, the asking price is usually way out of my price range. This beach bar in St. John, though, isn’t (yippee!) and while the beach may be absent, the vibe and view certainly make up for it. Island Blues, a waterfront restaurant and bar overlooking Coral Bay in St. John, US Virgin Islands, won’t even cost you in the six figures. With an asking price of $99,999, it gets close but when you get down to that price range, you start to grab the attention of people really fast. And if it’s good enough to be reviewed by Caribbean Travel and Life, which calls it a “rough-and-ready watering hole, popular with locals weary of the tourist scene,” it should be good enough for you.

Island Blues is currently listed on the Islandia Real Estate site and they describe the opportunity as “WATERFRONT Business on CORAL BAY,ISLAND BLUES RESTAURANT & BAR in the heart of the proposed marina. With current seating for 22(bar), 40 (table seating) and additional seating in the ”stage” area. Room on the property for expansion. Lease & equipment for sale.” While you won’t own the land, the potential possibilities this location could offer are only enhanced by the proposed new marina which according to the News of St. John, is coming whether you want it to or not. A marina full of hungry and thirsty yachties looking to spend their hard earned cash (or family trust)? Sounds like the ideal situation to me. And did I mention that the asking price is only $99,999? Let’s not forget that.

If you currently have a beach bar for sale in the Caribbean or are contemplating putting yours on the market, please send me an email at email@example.com. I have a buyer who is very interested in purchasing an established beach bar that also offers a lunch and/or dinner menu. Available living quarters are also desired but could be purchased separately. Any information you provide to me (full financials will need to be made available at some point in the process) will be kept confidential and will only be provided to the prospective buyer.
The buyer is very serious about purchasing a beach bar. I have discussed this with them in depth and their intent is to purchase one within the next year. While their preferred location would be Aruba, they will consider any location in the Caribbean.
A Tampa Bay, Florida area beach bar just came up for sale this past week. I’m assuming the beach bar is in the Tampa area since that’s where the listing agent, David Britton, is based. Details are limited and the actual beach bar isn’t listed. As with many businesses, the sellers like to remain anonymous to avoid having a negative impact on their current business operations. The beach bar is described on Mr. Britton’s listing as follows: “Beach Bar, Beach Bar, Beach Bar! This is what everybody is looking for, a Beach Bar AND PROPERTY!!! This customer has a great business, they serve breakfast in the morning, have football on Sundays, and did I mention that they Brew their own beer too?!?! Business is great, foods wonderful, and the crowd loves the staff and you will too! Does nearly $1 million a year in sales!” That should help narrow it down. How many beach bars in the Tampa Bay area brew their own beer?
After almost a week of posting articles on the St. Pete Beach area, this might be the opportunity for someone to make their dream of living in the area come true AND own their own beach bar. Talk about livin’ de life! For more information (which you can only get if you agree to sign your life away) including the asking price, you can view the listing here.

The Barefoot Cowboy Lounge, a beach bar for sale on St. John in the US Virgin Islands, sounds like a place Kenny Chesney would be perfectly at home in. While it isn’t located on the beach, the beautiful Caribbean waters of Cruz Bay are just across the street and the view and vibe at this St. John bar will convince anyone that there is sand between their toes, even if it’s only the sand dragged in by its many customers.
